      Not only did Spies nab the pole, but he got bumped off in the first race only to come back and win the second! Read on to get the details of his performance on the new '09 R1

      Chalk a big "W" for us yanks! Spies is on fire baby, with his first win in the World Superbike Series. BMW did pretty well with their new S1000RR with a top-ten finish, Aprilia was top 3 with their new RSV-4 and the "old-technology" GSX-R1000 was untouchable down the back straights.
