I've always hated wearing full road race boots on the street. You walk around like Forest Gump in leg braces and you make a horrible clunky sound. You're feet sweat like a Florida swampland and you just look silly.
Icon's original Super Duty boots revolutionized the industry. They were the first street oriented boots. The 3rd generation is the by far the best so far.
- They keep my feet warm during cold rides and don't over heat them during hot ones.
- They are the FIRST boots that I would wear all day long. In fact, I’ve even worn them all weekend long when I forgot to pack shoes on a recent trip.
- They don't look like motorcycle boots, yet don't look like ugly boots. I actually wore them into trendy clubs like The Standard in Hollywood.
- My boots are worn, but mostly from walking around in them. After over a year of wearing them, they still are completely useable.
