The new 2009 Ducati Streetfighter was introduced to the world press over the weekend at Spain's glorious Ascari circuit.
Though the howling winds made it tough to ride at times, the bike still came across as very impressive.
As the day wore on and the track became more familiar the bike found its groove. With very comfortable ergos (for such intense performance) it took a minute to find a decent pace, but that mighty twin cylinder motor made it easier. It's 5 HP down on its 1098 Superbike brother, but on the street you'll never notice it anyways.
So is it the naked bike that we've been waiting for? A proper performing race replica that's more rideable on the road than the full-on sportbike?
