Today was the last time I'll be commuting on the 2009 Yamaha R1. The rear caliper for the 2009 Kawasaki ZX-10R arrived yesterday, so i can jump back on my preferred bike.
One more quirk about the R1...it runs incredibly hot. I'm talking 235º hot.
That seems unusually warm, especially considering that it was only 70 degrees outside. Odd.
On the silly/stupid side, some dude was apparently commuting to work on his SV650...in shorts. FYI: it was 55 degrees outside.
Maybe he didn't have a chance to do his laundry.
