Some love it, some hate it but you can't deny that many people prefer to ride with music. I've never been one to try it so today on the commute into work I thought I might give it a whirl...
...so I threw my Zune in my pocket and ran some headphones up inside my helmet. Needless to say, at times it was pretty nice riding to some jams but I also found myself not as alert. However, other times I felt more alert....hmmmm
I did notice that I wasn't paying as much attention to the motor and often found myself trying to remember what gear I was in. My verdict isn't out yet, but I definitely didn't feel as in-tune with the bike, which is something I prefer.
Also, riding the bike is one of the few moments in life when all is quiet, maybe I'd like to keep it that way. Either way, I'll give it a few more swings before I strike it out.
