Morning Commute

 I had to four-wheel it to work this morning (bikes were in the back of the truck) and I noticed something disturbing...

 I live in a state where lane splitting is LEGAL, yet I literally saw three sportbikes during my 30-mile drive to work. Keep in mind that during the entire trip I didn't break 40 mph. 

Where are all the bikes? People would rather waste away in their cars I guess...

It's pretty sad.

1. I can't imagine living in a state where lane splitting is illegal, sheesh. I'm impatient enough already, and then being trapped in between all those cars, NO THANKS!

2. Since I've started commuting on 2 wheels over a month ago I have realized something. What I've realized is that when I get back into my car all I can think about is being on my bike. I don't understand why people sit day after day in their cars either. Perhaps it's fear. Most people don't even think about getting a bike because they feel it's dangerous and/or out of the norm for transportation.
People need to break out of the mold and try something new. Why are the streets in other countries filled with bike riders and fewer cars? Get with it America!!
To all you fools out there sitting in traffic... you have no idea what you're missing.
