Living with my 2009 Yamaha R6

Commuting on a 2009 Yamaha R6

 As my stay with the R6 is quickly coming to an end I can't help but realize how much I'll miss the Six. It's been a willing partner in just about anything from collision avoidance (AKA commuting), back road bombing and track day work...


 ...and in all honesty with enough RPM on the dial there isn't much the R6 can't do. While bigger bikes do have more power there's something to be said for an ultra light bike in a stable package. That's not to say it's underpowered because it's up there with all of the the other 600s, especially with my budget bolt-ons, but even with literbikes available for my daily duties I still choose the R6...it's that good.

For now, that's all I'll report since I need to pack in the last few miles before she goes back.
