Here's a nice addition to any motorcycle and BMW is paving the way along with Garmin, the renowned GPS company.

Here's the text from a "dollars and sense" article:

"Garmin International has developed a new, customized GPS device for BMW motorcycle owners.

The BMW Motorrad Navigator IV has custom BMW features such as a custom mount, preloaded BMW dealer database, and audio and Bluetooth capabilities.

The portable device has a 4.3 inch touchscreen that is "glove-friendly, and comes preloaded with detailed street maps with millions of points of interest," Olathe-based Garmin said in its news release.

The GPS will be available in the third quarter. Pricing information was not disclosed."

With any luck this will catch on with other manufacturers. Not only will it make it easier to locate dealers in surrounding cities but while on the road you can find a dealer in emergency situations.
