It was a long ride, but a good one.
Actually, the ride up sucked. The weather was chilly and the roads were packed.
Coming home was a different deal though. Smooth sailing down the coast, then a pretty effortless cruise down the freeway for the second leg of the journey (save for heavy traffic in Santa Barbara).
I wasn't exactly looking forward to doing the 800 mile round trip on a sportbike, but honestly the ZX-10 was great. The only complaint I have is that the seat could use some extra padding for long hauls such as this.
