Commuting on a Motorcycle

 Dummies...they're everywhere.

As one carpool lane merged with another freeway I noticed a state patrol car about 1/4 mile ahead. Seconds later a dude in shorts and a t-shirt aboard a CBR600 comes flying up alongside me. We were rolling just over 70 mph in heavy traffic, so I figured lane splitting with a cop just ahead wouldn't be the best option.

I clearly gave myself four big old pats on the helmet and pointed ahead to indicate the cop, but as I put my hand back on the bar the dude just took off, splitting at about 90 mph.

I was astonished really. Either he was instigating  a police chase or somehow didn't understand the universal sign for 'COP.'

Or..he's just a fool.

In the end he basically ended up tailgating the cop car for about two miles. What a knucklehead.
