 Apparently the Belgian UniMotorcycle Society is a legit establishment that has sanctioned races...we can only hope they have more shut-down room next year.

Unimotorcycle drag racing began in Daytona Beach, Florida as the drunken inspiration of William 'Sidecar Willy' Nassau, President and founder of the American National Unimotorcyclists Society, Inc. We are the founding and sanctioning body of the sport. For the record, the Belgium races are NOT sanctioned for records in our sport. However, we did sanction races in Switzerland and in Germany last year.

The current world record in unimotorcycle drag racing is held by Alex Roth of Germany with a time of 2.47 sec.

The picture you show here is of Sidecar Willy on his 'beast' (unimotorcycle) aptly named 'Bad Puppy'. The picture was taken at our races in Daytona Beach in 1994. We have been in numerous magazines as the founders of this sport. At least 14 countries currently compete.
