Wheelies on an R6

Now I'm not one to wheelie the R6 all that often since, well, it's not exactly my bike but here and there I've been known to throw it up on the rear wheel for a few feet. This morning...

...as I climbed a long grade that I do most mornings I rolled off and chopped the throttle back on in first, low and behold the front wheel came'a rising and in that moment I realized I'd forgotten just how much easier it is to wheelie up hill. The gravity holds you back so you don't accelerate so much and just a touch of gas brings the wheel back up...it was pretty good but not something I do on a regular basis, especially on the street, since it's not exactly safe and I can't afford another ticket...

On a side note, here's a small article on how to wheelie your streetbike

More info on the R6 can be found HERE!!!!!!
