Buell 1125CR Review Test

So our project Buell 1125CR is moving along nicely now that it's sporting a Jardine RT5 slip-on with a carbon can. I took the beast home last night and it was one helluva ride...

...I must say, I'm a big fan of Streetfighters since they're so damn fun. They wheelie like crazy and still pull like a sportbike, but you sit upright so it's easy to do battle with the cagers all while being more comfortable.

The Buell 1125CR is a willing partner in my urban assault to work each morning, it's got tons of power, strong brakes and grabs people's attention.

I've always been a fan of Buell and its latest bikes are great. The CR has 146 HP/82 LB-FT stock, weighs just 375lbs dry and retails for $11,999, which isn't much more than a 750!

Bravo to Buell for creating such a great bike, but stay tuned for the Dec issue of SSB because we're taking this CR from stocker to rocker.

Ups: Big power, strong brakes, wheelies at will

Downs: Some vibes, transmission a little finicky when cold, I'm still thinking here...

Overall: A street monster that is unlike anything on the market
