Last night I rode a 2010 Kawasaki ZX-14 home. It has been a few years since I returned my long term 2008 Kawasaki ZX-14. It was just like old times.
I forgot what a comfortable and fast couch that big beast of a bike is! It only took a few miles until I was grinning ear to ear again on the massive power, brakes and size of the beast.
- Massive power any gear, anytime
- Decent brakes for such a big beast
- Comfortable for long distances
- Fuel gauge with distance to empty
- Open patches of road equal high speed fun
- Still difficult to move around when pushing
- Heavy until rolling
- Awkward front end looks like an alien
Overall, it was a great reunion with the ZX-14. Tonight, I'm riding the 'Busa. Let's see if it's everything I remember.
