I was lucky enough to take a Ducati GT 1000 out for a spin today and was quite impressed. Above all, this thing wheelies like a big supermoto...
with a crack of the throttle she comes right up in first and then just sits there. Monos aside the vintage style is cool, especially the spoke rims and the red paint. Power is way more than you need on the street, thanks to the latest version of the air-cooled two-valve Duc motor.
If I had the money for an extra bike or wanted something that looks retro but performs like a current bike, I'd buck up for one.
