I finally found some time to tinker with our Project Honda CBR929RR this weekend and man was it nice to get away from all of life's insanities...
...While I was in there I added a Sato Ti exhaust bracket and a Targa single-seat cowl. I also replaced the bent bits on my Sato rearsets with new counterparts. That's right, Sato offers a full line of replacement parts for all of their rearsets, so in the event of a mishap, you're covered.
On a side note, the Ti hanger moved the position of the exhaust clamp and unfortunately now you can see where the rubber strap had been rubbing on the pipe. Any suggestions on what I should do to make the pipe look OK again? Cover the "buffed" section with some vinyl, polish the entire pipe?
Here's a crappy cell pic just so can get a sneak peek at the ol' 9-two-9.
