I managed to squeeze in a a nice ride up through the Malibu hills and down to the world famous Rock Store on the Suzuki Gladius the other day and...
...the middleweight handled the twisties just fine. While I wasn't out there burning up the pavement, ol Gladus, the Gladius will roll over and touch her pegs down with ease.
Along with the willing chassis, the brakes are quite good with a firm squeeze on the lever and the V-twin motor is a jewel! It has power everywhere, will wheelie in the lower gears and is smooth as glass on the freeway.
I ended up putting almost 160 miles on her in a day and I wasn't too uncomfortable after I got home either. Oh yeah, here's the kicker, I averaged 61 MPG. So all those hybrids can go pound sand because I got better mileage and had more fun!
