Leave it to Yahoo to give the Indianapolis MotoGP some press...of the worst kind.
Surely you've heard that 13-year-old Peter Lenz tragically lost his life after an accident over the weekend. And leave it to the mainstream media to jump on it and run it as a headline story (see attached screen shot).
No mention of the rookie Ben Spies setting pole position and riding to second place, mind you, just capitalizing on a very touchy subject.
Then again, Colin Edwards won the World Superbike Championship in 2002 in one of the most dramatic races in SBK history, and there wasn't even a mention of it.
Sad. Lame. American Idol.
