 I don't think I know anybody who rides that doesn't have several tats. Why is that?

 Is it mandatory to get some ink shortly after you start riding for some reason?

Does anybody out there actually have clean skin?

1. i know a few who ride without ink.. i actually started getting ink before i started riding... but i guess its just the style of person we are, and tattoos and bikes just seem to go hand and hand. but tats def. came before the bike for me.. but i had always wanted a street bike. i just think its the breed of people we are.

2. Got my first tat in 1988 when I was 18, a year after I started riding on the street (legally). Tattoos mirror the motorcyclists' mentality of bucking the system, going against the grain. My opinion anyway...

3. Have to agree with the other guys. I got the ink way before I got the bike. I think it all goes together. The ink is an expression of who we are. Just the way our bikes are an expression of our attitudes and personalities.

7. i love the parlar... i just cant seem to stay away. lol something about that buzzing of the needle.. im addicted. lol i have 6 so far but none in which that are small. lol

8. the problem for me has been the price. tat artists get paid more than doctors. $150-$200 per hour!!

9. well maybe in cali.. but here.. not so much. i only have 1k in my tribal sleeve. its from the center of my chest, across, and down to my elbow all the way around my arm..

11. i can imagine so. i would still like to go out there and get a tat just to say i got one in cali. im suppose to be flying out there to san fran. sometime for work. but when we are out of state working.. its mostly fun with a touch of work. lol
