I guess I never really paid attention in the past, but with a recent new tire installation I noted the rather large "nipples" (you know the little fringe thingies that come on new tires).
More to the point—how long they've lasted. I've done 80 miles on the freeway and they're still fully intact, and I'm wondering just how long they'll remain.
Ever notice this? It seems in the past they wear off rather quickly—like within 30-50 miles.
