Any Wet Weather Tricks?

 Does anyone have a trick to keep rain off your face shield?

 I'm tempted to use RainX, but I've heard it can damage the visor.

For some reason my Scorpion visors are great in the rain and if I turn my head the water blows right off, but I'm curious if anybody has a system for others?

Or do you just deal with it as it comes?

1. I just deal with it, If your looking for no water on the shield I would say either a gold wing or a car. Both of those do well in rain management.

2. just looking for something to perform as well as the Scorpion visor. my other helmets hold the rain drops, much like a car windshield...

3. I have been using Rain X for my face shield for some years, and I haven't had any issues. I ride in Hawaii, so it comes in handy for our "spot" showers we get here. You just need to be going about 50mph, do a quick glance left or right, and the water sheets off clean, no whipping required. The trick is not to over do it, so I recommend one thin coat a month.

5. Rain X or non-silicone based car wax is a great option, but just be sure it's on a new or nonpitted shield. Otherwise the wax fills the pits in the shield and discolors. Then it's exceptionally difficult to remove and the shield's clarity is compromised.
