  To be honest I'm rather tired of hearing about Travis Pastrana's latest endeavors, but found this interesting nonetheless...

 Apparently in 2011 he'll be on the NASCAR circuit racing Waltrip Toyotas.

I guess it just goes to show that with Red Bull on your side you can do anything you like—whether you're actually qualified or not.

I wonder what the veteran racers will think about this?

1. One of the most marketable names in the history of motorsports writing his own ticket. He could have done so much more in moto, but he's smart as hell and is taking opportunities where he can.

NASCAR has a challenge ahead of them to build their brand up again; ticket sales are down as are TV ratings so they need fresh faces/personalities to appeal to new demographics.

I'm stoked for him, but yeah, I agree Dave that he may or may not be qualified...
