This morning on my way to work, I crashed. Traffic was slowing, and my turn was coming up. I turned on my signal to make a right. Just as I was about to ride around the SUV in front of me, she slammed on her brakes. I clipped her brake light, and my bike went down. I jumped off my Ninja, and slid for a second. Was I too close? Yes. Was it my fault? Yes. I didn't give myself a cushion. Had I done that, I would have had enough time to react faster.
There's not a scratch on me that I can see (I have my gear to thank for that), I will have to go home and look closer. The only visible damage to my gear that I found was a small hole on my Alpinestars Stella SMX-4 glove. I do feel sore, but I'm more embarrassed than anything. My ego, and my poor Ninja probably took the hardest hit.
