TRAFFIC!

 The traffic situation in southern California is enough to make you cry...

 This is a screen capture from a local traffic site that gives real time updates on traffic flow.

For those unfamiliar, the distance from the ocean to downtown Los Angeles is roughly 15 miles, so now you have some scope when looking at this shot. Basically, in the 60 mile line from the ocean inland and in all directions it's gridlock. The red means under 20 mph, yellow up to about 50 and green over 55. There ain't much green to be seen!

This is every morning, every evening! How do folks sit in there cars and rot when they could be splitting lanes on a bike or scooter? It boggles the mind...
