After a trip to Ohio during the recent holidaze I got back in touch with the reality that most of America is enduring: snow and cold.
I've been spoiled since moving to southern California five years ago. To put things in perspective, I recently rescheduled a photoshoot here because the forecast was "partly cloudy." We wanted pure sun so we decided to wait.
Meanwhile, we've had to reschedule two shoots in New York because the snow was so heavy the bike couldn't be trailered to the studio!
I sort of forgot that folks up north aren't thinking as much about their bikes as they are paying the heat bill or getting their car out of the driveway.
But enough of that—don't let bad weather ruin your passion. Bring your bike inside and pull some parts off to send out for chrome or powdercoat. Or buy a new part to install. Do something to get your mind off the weather and back to what's most important—your bike!
