 I posted a vid recently of my afternoon commute on our YouTube channel and some viewers have flipped out, leaving insane comments about how the rider deserves to die...

Most of the video is under 50 mph, and it's legal to lane split in California. You be the judge:

1. wow, people are going crazy over this?! jeez im sorry you have to read some the comments these idiots leave like 50 mph is gonna put you through a mini van?! come on and if lane splitting is legal shouldn't drivers be checking their mirrors watching for motorcycles since it is legal not complaining that they shouldn't be splitting?!?! jeez look at it from another point of view people!!! nice vid dave thanks for the entertainment and enjoy that cali weather my riding season is done soon :/

3. people are crazy. in Europe cars move out of the way when a bike is splitting lanes, but in Cali they actually try to pinch you and cut you off...on purpose!

4. Half of the people who posted comments are idiots. You can tell by their bad grammar/spelling.

Many of them mentioned wanting to open their car door to intentionally hurt you. Why would someone want to do that? Haters.

5. The anonymity of the internet fuels stupidity and hatred. Comments like those posted on your page would never be uttered in a face to face meeting. Lane splitting is safer that riding between cars in traffic and should be allowed in every state in the USA.
