So the reviews of the new 2011 Ducati Diavel are hitting newsstands (and the Web) and they all are similar in that they
feature some dude trying to ride really fast around corners. That's where I'm confused...
Isn't this supposed to be a big muscle bike that can pull wheelies from time to time when it's not smoking the rear tire?
Speaking of rear tires, it's got a 240, so why all the "it handles so great" sort of stuff? Are people going to buy this bike (or the Star VMAX) to haul ass through the twisties, or to put loud pipes on and do burnouts away from traffic lights and rev the motor when rolling through a bike night?
And why on Earth would anybody want traction control on something like this? When you get in a Corvette isn't the first thing you do—before even buckling up—is bypass the TC? I know I do...
