I took our box stock 2011 Suzuki Hayabusa for a nice ride the other day and I must say...
...it's about as well-rounded as it gets. I hit a twisty section of Mulholland Drive and the big beast bends through corners like a proper sportbike. Albeit I wasn't pushing super hard, but for as big as it is, it'll roll right on over.
As for the rest of the bike, well, the motor is a monster everywhere, wind protection is substantial, the brakes are sufficient and the street cred pegs the meter. Everyone seems to know a Hayabusa and everyone seems to think it'll go 250 mph! "Say man, is that the Hayabusa bike that'll go like 250 mph?"
I heard something along those lines three times over the course of my ride. Instead of it being annoying, I'd say that's pretty cool.
I can't wait to start modding the big bike, then things should get really interesting. But more on that later.
