Today was the first day in roughly two weeks that I'd been on my Ducati Streetfighter and it was amazing. Boy did I miss riding...
...the beast. Truthfully, the big sport touring rig I'd been riding for the past two weeks was comfy and fast, but it was just too portly for city commuting. Out on the road and two-up it was nice, but getting back on the Duc was an experience.
Slicing through traffic is a lot easier and DAMN does the motor have a lot of power. Sure it doesn't have the top-end of a Hayabusa, but the midrange hit for shooting for traffic gaps is amazing. Just twist the gas and you're there.
Nothing groundbreaking to report. It's just nice to be back on the Duc.
