Custom Paint Job

 What's your idea of the perfect paint job?

 Loud and colorful or subtle and understated? Lots of crazy skulls and flames or simple graphics? What about retro themes?

It's a lot harder coming up with a paint scheme than you might think, but here's one that I found intriguing...rather simple but to the point!

1. black....gloss? flat? doesn't matter... if that's too "crashed and rashed" for ya, i've always gotten a kick out of painting the right side a bright color, and the left a dark (black of course). that way, when a driver calls the cops about you speeding, and they're coming the other way, suddenly you're not on a yellow bike anymore...ya know what i'm sayin

2. that's an awesome idea, i like that. i like paint schemes that are simple but creative and different. It doesn't have to be exaggerated or loud but small things that make you say i never noticed that before are the coolest to me.

3. I've always wondered about what people say when they call the cops. I'd imagine they just say "blue" bike when a GSX-R hauls past or something.
Now that I wear a bright orange lid I'm sure that's what they notice and describe.

I love the black murdered out (what a dumb expression) look, but I've done it about 10 times now...thinking of something totally different. I Googled "retro car paint" and got some cool ideas—just not sure they'd translate to a bike very well...

4. ya, i've been pulled over and had the cops relay the callers description by describing my helmet....i'm still workin on that one..

5. 5. i like a paint scheme that describes the rider...like the dark murdered out look, that can actually show someone's personality...so when it comes to paint, do you! if you wanna be loud and flashy an have somethin nobody else has/had than that's what you need to roll with. personally i think graphix set it off...and always try to match ur lid afterwards or you just wasted the whole purpose of your paint job
